I've found some speakers. Now I'm selling all of my Altecs

In my listening room they go to higher SPLs than the Altecs.

I understand that of course what sounds "better" is a matter of personal preference, but I'm wondering if there's something wrong with your Valencias if these 8" woofer speaker systems sound louder than they do?
